MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE IPPLEPEN PARISH COUNCIL PLANNING COMMITTEE ON WEDNESDAY 16th NOVEMBER 2022 at 19.00hrs

2.0 Declaration of Interest:
There were no declarations of interest or dispensation requests.
3.0 To consider the following planning applications:
3.1 22/01738/FUL – Change of use land to B8 Storage at Crosslands, Marldon Road, Ipplepen.
Comment: Ipplepen Parish Council have no objection in principle for the land to change to B8 storage but we are disappointed there is little detail about the proposed replacement structures and portacabin.
Proposed RF seconded SR – unanimous
3.2 22/01956/TPO – T2, Tulip tree: Crown reduction of south western aspect by up to 3m, retaining a tree with a crown radius of approx. 7m. T4 Sycamore Fell at Great Ambrook, The Italian Garden, Road heading West from Ambrook Lodge, Ipplepen.
Comment: Ipplepen Parish Council have no objections to this application.
Proposed RF seconded RC – unanimous
3.3 22/02094/HOU – Extension to existing loft conversion, including raising ridge height, and construction of two storey side extension at 2, Dornafield Drive West.
Comment: Ipplepen Parish Council object to the application in its present form as we are of the opinion it is overdevelopment and is incompatible with the street scene. A less dominant design could well have greater merit.
Proposed RF seconded RC – unanimous
3.4 Ipplepen Skate Park – Planning Process –
It was proposed that we approach some skatepark construction companies for some possible designs.
