AGENDA FOR THE MEETING OF IPPLEPEN PARISH COUNCIL

TUESDAY 6th FEBRUARY 2024 AT THE MILLENNIUM CENTRE, IPPLEPEN

To all members of the Council you are hereby SUMMONED to attend the meeting of Ipplepen Parish Council, which is to be held at the Millennium Centre, Ipplepen on Tuesday 6th February 2024 at 7.15pm for transacting the following business.

No Subject
1 The Chair will open the Meeting and receive apologies
2 To declare any interests arising at this meeting.
3 Approval to consider, amend as agreed by the Council and approve the minutes of the following meeting: Tuesday 2nd January 2024.
  The Council will adjourn for the following items:
4 Public Question Time: A period of 10 minutes will be allowed for members of the public to ask questions or make comment regarding the work of the Council or other items that affect Ipplepen.
  The Council will convene to conduct the following business:
5 Correspondence & Outside Bodies
6 To receive reports from County and District Councillor
7 Planning & Planning Matters:

To approve Minutes of Plans Meeting held on 17th January 2024.

To consider the following planning applications:

23/02249/LBC – Replace corrugated metal roofing sheets, replace all defective gutters and downpipes, infill any holes through the existing external stonework or render, repair roof trusses and repairs to existing internal cellar ceiling at the Wellington Inn, Fore Street.

24/00031/FUL – Change of use and conversion of an agricultural/equestrian building to a wedding venue with car parking and landscaping at Bow Grange, Littlehempston.

APPEAL DISMISSED 23/00038/REF – Appeal against the refusal of 23/00217/FUL: Retrospective change of use of paddock land to domestic curtilage, with retention of domestic store, pool and driveway at Littlemead, Marldon Road.

8 Amenities

–       Amenities Report.

–       Grounds Maintenance Service

–       DCC Urban Grass Cutting Agreement

–       To consider the quotes received for a new football goal at the Recreation Ground.

–       To consider the quotes received for the replacement fencing between the Recreation Ground and the Village Hall.

9 Finance & Personnel

·         To agree accounts for payments

·         To discuss any further items relating to Finance.

10 Highways

To receive matters that are brought forward to Councillors attention in order that action can be taken i.e. footpaths, hedges, road maintenance etc.

11 Skate Park Working Party
  The Council will adjourn for the following items:
