MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE IPPLEPEN PARISH COUNCIL PLANNING COMMITTEE ON WEDNESDAY 16th OCTOBER 2024 at 19.00hrs

- There were no declarations of interest in any of the applications.
- Review of Planning Applications:
3.1 24/01521/HOU – Replace existing garage/greenhouse with new garage and gym/studio at Appletrees, Dornafield Road, Ipplepen.
Comment: Ipplepen Parish Council have no objections in principle to the application but comment as follows:
- The proposed new garage and gym/studio is to be ancillary to the main dwelling and is not to be sold, leased, let or disposed of as a separate entity in perpetuity.
- The application building is not to be used for commercial use but for personal use only.
- The application building is to be for the use as described and not for any form of residential occupancy.
- Any external lighting scheme is to be in accordance with the recommendations of, and the approval of Teignbridge District Council.
- Compliance with the recommendations of South West Water is required as a condition.
Proposed RF seconded DS Unanimous decision.
3.2 24/01597/CAN – A. Sycamore tree: Crown 1/3rd reduction (2m); B. Apple tree: Crown 1/3rd reduction at Oakley Cottage, North View Cottages, Fore street, Ipplepen.
Comment: Ipplepen Parish Council have no objection to this application.
Proposed RF seconded RC Unanimous decision.
