MINUTES
Meeting held on Wednesday 18th September 2024 at 6-45pm at the Millenium Centre

1. Apologies – Councillor Barbara Calland
2. Approve the Minutes – The minutes of the last meeting held on the 17th July
2024 were agreed.
3. Matters arising not on the agenda- none
4. Totnes Road Footpath Path Project – Ongoing
5. Urban Speed Limiters – Received two quotes at the moment and awaiting
further quote from TWM Trail Control System for portable units and fixings
required. Hopefully, we will have all quotes in place for decision at the next full
Parish Council Meeting.
6. Public Rights of Way Inspections – Footpath 12 – hedge is overgrown in one
area. The Chairman, Councillor Smith, met with Simon Birbeck with reference to
laying hedge but was told it is not suitable for laying. The only option is to cut
the hedge back and reduce the height to six feet below the existing fence. Work
to be completed by Christmas 2024. Email received from Mr Steve Garner,
temporary Rights of Way Officer for Devon County with reference to work
required and possible help with funding.
7. Flood Reduction – Nothing to report
